SEO Copywriter with a degree in UX Writing. Proven ability to plan and create content that improves user experience and organic search performance.
For the last 15 years, I’ve been helping students and businesses communicate effectively as a copywriter, and as a teacher before that. I believe that articulate and clear communication can make experiences more accessible and enjoyable, and I’m passionate about crafting the right voice, and creating solutions through user-centric content and design.

I’ve worked as an SEO Copywriter in Netenders and Ukio, and was responsible for the blog in both. We wanted evergreen posts that would improve SEO, while providing real value for our readers, and help make us an authority in our fields. Creating comparison articles and city guides was a big part of this. I made various series of informative guides that leveraged SEO opportunities.
We also wanted some shorter posts for a bit of fun, to help give us personality. I analysed data, found opportunities, researched the topics, and wrote the content. I also uploaded the content to WordPress and other CMSs, and edited and proofread the work of other writers.

In both roles, we saw highly satisfactory results. Clicks and impressions rose significantly, directing traffic to the main website. The improvement was also sustained, with our evergreen blogs continuing to perform well much later. Below, we can see the progression at the Netenders brand Wordans, along with Ukio.

I was also involved with the netlinking strategy in both companies— both writing and requesting the articles to improve their backlink profiles.
